Executive Vice President, Climate
Didier Teirlinck is the executive vice president of Ingersoll Rand’s Climate Strategic Business Units. In his role, Didier will also serve as the senior sponsor for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to leverage regional support functions, resources, talent and common processes and systems for the success of Ingersoll Rand as a whole.
Didier has served as the president of Climate Solutions since it was formed in 2009. He joined Ingersoll Rand as the president of Climate Control – Europe in 2005 and was promoted to president of the entire sector in 2008.
Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Didier was the president of the Compact Business Line worldwide for Volvo Construction Equipment beginning in 2000. Previously, he was general manager of DANISCO Flexible Group for Southern Europe.
Didier received a Diploma of “Ingénieur Civil des Mines” from Ecole des Mines de Nancy, France. He also received a Diploma of “Docteur-Ingénieur” in Physics & Chemistry of Materials from University of Nancy 1, and a McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Ph.D. of Metallurgy & Materials Science.
