President, Commercial HVAC North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa
Dave Regnery is president of HVAC Commercial for North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Ingersoll Rand and is a member of the company’s Enterprise Leadership Team.
In this role, Regnery has full responsibility for the strategy, operations and performance of the Trane Commercial business. The mission of Trane Commercial is to create positive, productive indoor environments for our customers’ buildings in the most efficient possible way. In order to do this, Regnery leads the Trane equipment and systems, building services, controls and energy services businesses that offer customers solutions that are beneficial for the entire lifecycle of their building. His passion is taking care of the customer and creating a winning culture to deliver on our mission. During the last five years as president of Trane Commercial, he has created strong teamwork, improved operational efficiencies and led growth within all revenue streams and functions.
Regnery began his career at Ingersoll Rand as a financial management trainee and was promoted to roles of increasing responsibility including plant controller and controller for Schlage and chief financial officer for the Security Technologies sector before shifting his focus to general management. Throughout his 28-year tenure with Ingersoll Rand, Regnery has worked in nearly every business sector in every region and led the company’s shared services organization.
Regnery has been instrumental in establishing and growing partnerships with General Electric (GE) and Samsung and has played an integral role in developing the Energy Services business for Trane. Regnery also serves on the board of the Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
Regnery graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and earned his MBA from Lehigh University.
