Ingersoll Rand's China-Based Sales Development Program is an elite 18-month program designed to accelerate the learning curve for new sales professionals in China, and prepare them to become the sales leaders of tomorrow.
As a participant, you will undergo immersive classroom training geared toward developing strong skills in a broad range of areas including: professional selling; customer service; business presentations; interpersonal leadership; product knowledge; and various other sales competencies. You'll also gain valuable on-the-job experience through assigned responsibilities in the field as a sales trainee.
Positions within the China-Based SDP are highly sought after -- each year Ingersoll Rand selects approximately 25 participants from among China's top universities of science and technology. In addition to the benefits of building a strong foundation for a rewarding sales career, graduates of the program take away lasting cross-sector professional and personal bonds with fellow graduates, which enhances their experiences and opportunities within Ingersoll Rand throughout their careers. Most China-Based SDP graduates choose to become sales professionals at one of our 20 locations in China.
To qualify for consideration, you should be a collaborative, driven, inventive individual with demonstrated academic, functional and technical excellence. You should also hold or be working toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following majors: Mechanical Engineering; Refrigeration; Architecture Design; Integration of Electrical and Mechanical Design; Computer Science and Technology; Computer Science Application; Electric Automation; Electronics Information Technology; Communications Engineering; or a related degree.
