Internships and Co-ops


An internship or co-op position with Ingersoll Rand is an ideal way to gain the experience and exposure that can lead to a rewarding career with us. We offer challenging opportunities for high-achieving undergraduates who are pursuing degrees in engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, accounting, marketing, information systems/information technology, and sales. We also seek students pursuing a Master's degree in human resources.

Intern/co-op assignments with Ingersoll Rand do more than just challenge and stretch your abilities – they impact the business. Our interns and co-ops have been involved in developing marketing strategies for new products, designing innovative new technologies to be sold in commercial or residential markets, creating new standards for talent management and talent development, and working with suppliers for vital material needs.

The ideal Ingersoll Rand intern/co-op candidate will:

  • Be pursuing a degree related to your targeted functional area
  • Have a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Have leadership experience in clubs, student organizations, etc.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be geographically mobile
