Brent Goddard

Brent Goddard
Director, North America Logistics - US Marine Corps

I believe that my experiences in the military are a great foundation and background for a career at Ingersoll Rand. The Marine Corps core values of courage, honor, and commitment align very well with the company values.  My experiences leading global supply chain organizations can be applied to many areas within Ingersoll Rand from SIOP to logistics to manufacturing operations.

Brent recently joined Ingersoll Rand after over 30 years of military service in the United States Marine Corp. Brent had a very diverse career in the Marine Corps with tours in manufacturing operations, sales, supply chain, and transportation.  During these tours, he and his family were stationed all around the world and the United States to include over five years in Japan. The highlight of his career was commanding 2nd Maintenance Battalion at Camp Lejeune, NC, and deploying this unit to combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 12 February 2003 to 4 July 2003.

"I believe that my experiences in the military are a great foundation and background for a career at Ingersoll Rand," says Brent. "The Marine Corps' core values of courage, honor, and commitment align very well with the company values.  My experiences leading global supply chain organizations can be applied to many areas within Ingersoll Rand from SIOP to logistics to manufacturing operations.  With a very diverse background, I have been able to quickly understand the future vision of the company and apply my skills and knowledge to work towards that vision.  Overall, I am very pleased to be here at Ingersoll Rand and look forward to this second career."
