"My manager values my military experience, he actually is a veteran himself. He gives me the autonomy to be a successful manager, respects my opinion and trusts me to make the right decisions."
Gabriel Ganzagan joined Ingersoll Rand in May of 2012 as part of the Trane Rental Services business in Orlando, Florida. As Depot Coordinator, Gabriel is a member of the management team responsible for the operation of the Orlando facility. He is a native of the Philippines and served 10 years in the United States Army as an Automated Logistical Specialist, serving in Europe, Asia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Gabriel has found his Army experience to be invaluable in his new role. “I like the strong sense of teamwork at Ingersoll Rand. Everyone goes out of their way to support and help their team mates, just as we did in the Army”. He also sees how the values he learned in the military also apply in his new role. “In my job, customer satisfaction is so important. I make sure that when dispatched to a customer, our equipment is in top working order. I did the same in the Army when running a motor pool. I was committed and devoted to ensuring that each vehicle was fully capable, my fellow soldier’s lives depended on it!”
Gabriel has also found a welcoming environment at Ingersoll Rand. “My manager values my military experience, he actually is a veteran himself. He gives me the autonomy to be a successful manager, respects my opinion and trusts me to make the right decisions”
