HR Manager for Emerging Markets
Employee since 2005
As Human Resources Manager for Emerging Markets, I work with Ingersoll Rand talent in Poland, the Middle East, Russia and Turkey. I have always aspired to be part of an international team drawing from the experiences of HR professionals across the world, and Ingersoll Rand has provided me with this opportunity in so many different ways. As talent management is part of my job, I have had the opportunity to work with people of twelve different nationalities at one time- and to me that is amazing!
At Ingersoll Rand I have found an environment that is challenging, productive, enjoyable and talent-oriented. The culture here is to grow and develop future leaders at all levels of the organization, and I help to make it happen. Ingersoll Rand provides me with a flexible and responsive atmosphere, in a rapidly changing, technology-driven market. I have the opportunity to participate in strategic transformation and change processes within the company… and as my career in HR progresses, I hope to be able to manage larger and more complex industrial businesses in different regions. That is one of the great things about Ingersoll Rand- the organization encourages and enables its people to gain experiences in different locations, functions and regions.
I live in Istanbul, Turkey, and this city has such a rich and historical past. Istanbul was the epicenter of three great empires: the Roman, the Christian Byzantine; and the Ottoman. In 1999, another Turkish city, Izmit, was hit by a large and destructive earthquake. I went to the area to help the people of the city, and witnessed Ingersoll Rand industrial equipment being used widely to help save lives and make a difference for the victims of the earthquake. Seeing my company’s products at work, and seeing a sense of social responsibility in action, made me so proud to be a part of Ingersoll Rand.
