Ingersoll-Rand (Guilin) Tools Co., Ltd. Now a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand

| CARMEL, IN (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- On January 8, 2009, Ingersoll-Rand (China) Investment Co., Ltd. closed a transaction buying back all of the Chinese partner's equity interests in Ingersoll-Rand (Guilin) Tools Co., Ltd., turning the joint venture into a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand.
Established in 1997, Ingersoll-Rand (Guilin) Tools produces various types of pneumatic tools as well as high quality diaphragm pumps, and has been an important manufacturing base for Industrial Technologies. The share buy-back will provide Ingersoll Rand with greater flexibility in its operations and enhance its ability to manage the business |
