DUZCE, TURKEY (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System at the Security Technologies European-Served Area plant in Düzce, Turkey, has been granted ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications by BSI (British Standards Institution), an independent and well-known certification authority in Europe.

The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System identifies all environmental impacts and ensures that all necessary precautions are taken and legal requirements are met. The OHSAS 18001 System identifies all safety risks in the workplace and ensures that all precautions are taken to protect the safety and health of employees, visitors and contractors. Both standards are aligned with Ingersoll Rand's EHS requirements and Operational Excellence initiatives.
