|TYLER, TX (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- The Residential Solutions facility in Tyler, TX, recently donated $3,773.95 to support the March of Dimes. Eighteen employees were joined by friends and family members for the March of Dimes' "March for Babies" fundraiser, which involved walking a 2.5-mile course around Bergfeld Park in Tyler. Ingersoll Rand was the second-highest contributing company.
Tyler’s Employee Engagement Committee, led by Sh’Angela Glenn and Anne Crispen, raised a total of $2,273.95 for the cause through T-shirt sales, an interdepartmental challenge to collect loose change, candy sales, donations and fresh popcorn sales. In addition, the Tyler plant donated $1,500 to become a local sponsor of the event.
The money raised supports programs in the local community that help mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies.|
