Become a Supplier
The supplier registration process is the foundation of our relationship with suppliers. The more we know about a supplier’s products, services, and overall ability to meet our business goals, the better able we are to determine the potential for a mutually beneficial relationship. Ingersolll Rand supplier registration will allow current and aspiring suppliers to realize the following benefits:
- Cost Savings – Registration is free of charge.
- Privacy – Information is securely stored for Ingersoll Rand use only.
- Easy Access – Information can be accessed and updated easily via the internet.
- Efficiency – Frictionless technology is also used to respond to RFPs, participate in Auctions, share contracts, and display performance feedback.
- Data Storage Capability – Important data and documents can be scanned and uploaded, including insurance information, certifications, and safety information.
- Visibility – Ingersoll Rand commodity categories can be selected by suppliers and used as search criteria by FPL procurement agents in the sourcing process.
New suppliers must register online and enter their company's information through our supplier registration Web site in order to be considered for the bidding process.
Existing suppliers who wish to request online login information should contact us and include the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) DUNS number, 3) Contact Name, 4) Contact Email Address.
After administrative approval, suppliers will receive an email with your username, password and a link to our online sourcing tool. Registering does not guarantee that we will contact your company or that your company has or will meet any current or future business needs.
The Sourcing functions of our businesses long-term strategy is to create an extended relationship with our suppliers. Working together, all parties should be dedicated to continuous improvement and cooperation. Our vision is to further develop a world class supply chain that fully satisfies the sourcing and logistics needs of our internal customers while increasing shareholder value. We encourage existing and potential suppliers to review the information we provide here and to register with us online.
Ingersoll Rand is focused on streamlining efficiencies within our Integrated Supply Chain and is committed to making the maximum use of electronic commerce. Ingersoll Rand will use Frictionless Commerce to manage the supplier registration process. Frictionless technology allows suppliers to electronically submit and update information (safety, insurance, etc.) and provides for direct integration of supplier-based data with our eSourcing processes (RFP, Auctions, etc.) at no cost to the supplier.
The information you provide in the IRSource / Frictionless supplier registration system is stored in a secure database. Ingersoll Rand has access to this database and frequently checks there for capable suppliers as new needs and requirements arise. Should we identify needs that match your firm's capabilities, you may be contacted to obtain further information. Registering does not guarantee that your company will be contacted by us or that your company has or will meet any current or future business needs. Additionally, it will not be a determining factor when evaluating companies in the bid process. |
