Ingersoll Rand Celebrates The Chinese New Year With Local Students

Eight of our Asian Employee Resource Group (AERG) members volunteered for a Chinese New Year Art event at a local school in North Carolina. Ingersoll Rand’s AERG members gave 40 children a lesson in the Chinese language, teaching them words like rooster, teach, mom, dad, hello, goodbye and thank you.  After the language lesson the 8 AERG members worked with the students on two craft projects, a rooster mask and a rooster puppet.  The students submitted their favorite project for an art competition that will be held at the Ingersoll Rand campus in Davidson on February 3rd.
