As a Senior at Oklahoma State University, there are a few places you may spot Matthew Nejtek. He may be studying in the library for a marketing exam, out on a remote trail for a mountain biking excursion, or in the shop building formula-one racecars!
However, when summer rolls around there is another likely spot you might find him. This is Matthew’s third summer as an Ingersoll Rand intern.
Matthew spent his first two summers with Ingersoll Rand as a Project Administrator intern in Carrolton, TX as a part of the Trane business. He loved the welcoming and friendly culture at Ingersoll Rand and felt he was given real meaningful work. In the summer of 2018, Matthew is completing his third internship with Ingersoll Rand in Davidson, NC.
This summer he is working on a marketing team and his responsibilities include collaborating with a global team on key projects that will drive success in the Ingersoll Rand Compression Technologies business.
Matthew shares that a key advantage of his internship with Ingersoll Rand is the large network he has been able to build with the other Ingersoll Rand interns (over 40 Ingersoll Rand interns join Matthew in Davidson, NC this summer). He also noted that the professional development workshops provided for interns throughout the summer are something that feels unique to him about his Ingersoll Rand internship experience.
