I started working for Ingersoll Rand in April 2015 as a Talent
Acquisition Partner. My wife and I became parents in January 2019
when we welcomed our son Levi. Fatherhood has been an awesome
experience so far, bringing sweet moments and new lessons every day.
As a new parent, quality time with my family is very valuable. The
support I have received from Ingersoll Rand has been instrumental in
my fatherhood journey. I was able to take advantage of the parental
leave policy for dads which allowed me to spend quality time with our
new son. As I entered my parental leave, I felt completely supported.
I was able to take leave and focus on my new family while knowing my
job was taken care of by my team.
When it was time to come back to work, I was not sure what the transition would look like. The flexibility that was offered to work remotely really helped with my transition, and I was able to still assist at home while my wife recovered and eventually went back to work. It is great to be a part of a company that values work-life balance and also understands what an adjustment it can be for working moms and dads. I truly appreciate and value working with a company that not only supports my professional growth but my personal well-being, too.
