Jason E. Bingham

President, Residential HVAC & Supply

Jason E. Bingham

Jason Bingham is president of the Residential HVAC & Supply business at Ingersoll Rand. In his current role, Jason has full responsibility for the management, operations and performance of Ingersoll Rand’s residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and HVAC parts and supply business for both residential and commercial customers. The residential strategic brands, including Trane, American Standard, Ameristar and NexiaTM deliver reliability, comfort and efficiency to homeowners, and the supply business offers both OEM and wholesale brands to fit every application.

Jason began his career with Trane as a sales engineer in Birmingham, Ala. He subsequently held roles as Trane Commercial district manager, territory vice president and Trane Commercial North America strategy leader in his more than 25 year career with the company.

Previously, Jason was vice president of digital and energy services for the Commercial HVAC North American and European business where he delivered business results while developing strategies, planning processes and leadership curriculums which have since been distributed nationwide. Under his leadership and guidance, Trane exceeded business expectations and created a winning culture regionally and nationally.

In his book, “Cultureship: The ACBs of Business Leadership,” Jason shows how culture is directly connected to business results and, contrary to popular belief, culture can change quickly.

Jason’s substantial business and community involvement includes serving on the boards of Roanoke City School Board, Mill Mountain Theatre and Second Presbyterian Church. As a Virginia Western Foundation Board member, Jason helped establish Roanoke City’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) which enables all high school seniors meeting academic and financial criteria to attend Virginia Western tuition-free. Both Ingersoll Rand and Trane are CCAP charter members. Jason also chaired the Roanoke Multiple Sclerosis Dinner of Champions.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
