CISA Remains Preferred Supplier to IKEA Italy

FAENZA, ITALY (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- CISA has won a contract to supply locks for a new IKEA store in San Giuliano Milanese, Italy. In cooperation with CISA solution partner Torchio Dario in Milan, CISA will provide AP3S cylinders and keys per the master key plan specifically designed for this store. The Security Technologies business is providing a total of 105 high-security cylinders, 65 master keys and 155 individual keys for entrance and exit doors.

The performance of CISA equipment previously installed in other IKEA stores has made the Security Technologies business IKEA's first choice for key plan definition and access management solutions featuring high-security cylinders. Nearly 1,000 AP3S cylinders protect IKEA stores in Ancona, Bari, Brescia Roncadelle, Milan Corsico, Afragola Naples, Padua, Parma, Rimini, Roma Porta di Roma and Torino Collegno. CISA also provided the IKEA Distribution Center in Piacenza with RS3 cylinders.

CISA is the first lockmaker in Italy to obtain ICIM certification under the European Standard EN1303. This certification guarantees the performance of cylinders and their production process through ongoing monitoring. CISA's RS3 S cylinder earned the highest rating possible in the standards for attack resistance, key-related security and durability.
