Interflex Training Center Successfully Launches First Product-Specific Online Training

STUTTGART, GERMANY (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- Security Technologies' Interflex business recently launched its first product-specific online training. Designed and produced by the Interflex Training Team of Joanna Talarek and Max Schuh, with technical help and tools supplied by Todd VanDenBerg from the Ingersoll Rand University team, the half-hour training session is for the IF 6040 with Network on Card. The online training is in addition to approximately 30 days of classroom training offered yearly for the IF 6040.

The reaction of the target audience – all sales people as well as all technicians and system engineers – to the online training has been positive. "What a delight to see we are moving in this direction!" commented one participant. Within three months, 17 percent of Interflex employees had either participated or finished the online training session, which is available on the Ingersoll Rand University online learning portal.

The Interflex training center in Stuttgart is committed to produce online training on at least two subjects per year, with the next course to be available in English. One of the objectives for the center, which has been serving customers and employees more than 10 years, is to move from classroom training to online training.

The IF 6040 application is Interflex's major development project, with more than 50 software developers constantly contributing to its capabilities.
