Ingersoll Rand's "58,000 Acts of Green Around the Globe"

As part of Ingersoll Rand's Earth Day initiative to improve the safety and health of local communities, reduce waste, decrease energy usage and help lower the company's carbon footprint, employees are participating in "58,000 Acts of Green Around the Globe." This initiative is a commitment and contribution to the international Earth Day Network's 2011 goal of "A Billion Acts of Green."

Employees in Davidson, North Carolina competed in a "Bloom Challenge" - a friendly competition to determine which team could plant the most flowers and beautify the offices' grounds.
