On Saturday, September 7, the Ingersoll Rand Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG), Southern Pines, NC Chapter, supported the Wheels and Warriors Car, Truck and Bike Show at the Fort Bragg Fairgrounds in Fayetteville, NC. The chapter provided career information to booth visitors, with focus on the military members. Ingersoll Rand’s talent acquisition leader for North America Sales and Service, Randall Rogers, attended the event and explained to numerous visitors that Ingersoll Rand is a veteran-friendly hiring company. Everyone from jet mechanics to linguist specialists visited the booth.

Military members, visitors and car show participants stopped by the booth to admire the Ingersoll Rand tool display, view the tool portfolio and try out the ¼ inch cordless impact tool. Guests we able to test their agility with the Ingersoll Rand Thunder Gun through a demonstration model where they were timed on removing lug nuts from a tire rim.

The Ingersoll Rand VERG is one of seven employee resource groups at Ingersoll Rand. It serves to make Ingersoll Rand a great place to work for employees with prior military experience through recruitment, development, retention and networking opportunities while identifying ways to support our veterans and active duty military in their professional growth.
