The readers of Woman Engineer magazine selected the top U.S. companies they’d most like to work for, or that they believe would provide a positive working environment for women engineers. Ingersoll Rand moved up the ranks to No. 36, from 41 in 2018. Ingersoll Rand joins peer companies such as Emerson, Honeywell and Johnson Controls – and overall giants like Google, Amazon and The Walt Disney Company.
“We are proud of Ingersoll Rand’s inclusion among these companies that are paving the way for women engineers in business and in government,” said Katie Davis, vice president of Engineering Excellence for Ingersoll Rand. “As a company, we know that skills and talent – not gender – matter most. When we are inclusive of all ideas and viewpoints, it leads to better innovation.”
The news ran in the magazine’s spring 2019 edition and is the result of an annual survey sent to randomly selected readers.
