CARMEL, IN (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) Security Technologies and The CBORD Group recently promoted their successful partnership at the National Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU) conference in Phoenix, AZ. The conference drew more than 200 university attendees involved in card office and security operations on campus.
Security Technologies and The CBORD Group engaged attendees with an activity that promoted the integration between the AD-Series lock and CBORD’s campus card solutions. Attendees started by swiping cards they received at their rooms in the AD-400 reader at Ingersoll Rand's booth, giving our employees a chance to discuss the product with them. Next, attendees headed to the CBORD booth, where they quickly and easily learned how to view video of the access transaction and tried for a chance at a prize. Prizes ranged from pens and coffee mugs all the way up to an iPod Touch. Besides driving traffic to both booths and promoting the partnership, the activity reinforced the strategic value of integrating the AD-Series locks with CBORD campus card solutions for ease of management and the highest levels of security.
"We were glad to promote our partnership with Ingersoll Rand at NACCU, and pleased with the results,” said Cindy McCall, vice president of marketing, The CBORD Group. “The integration between the AD-Series and CBORD campus card solutions highlights the value of electronic access control that is simple to manage, implement and upgrade as needs and budgets change. We appreciate Ingersoll Rand's continued partnership."
