CARMEL, IN (INGERSOLL RAND NEWS SERVICE) -- The 2010 edition of America’s Greatest Brands, published by the American Brands Council, has named Schlage one of the United States’ greatest brands. Being acknowledged in this book is a great accomplishment, usually shared by companies and products that appear every day on television and are seen on store shelves.
The publication recognizes some of the strongest and most trusted business brands in the United States. Each company is featured in a two-page spread that covers the brand’s market, achievements, history, product or service, recent developments, promotional activities, brand values and a “things you didn’t know” boxed-section.
This years’ edition will be printed in September, and distributed throughout the United States to universities, financial Institutions and others. “This recognition is important to us,” said Ann Matheis, Brand leader for Schlage. “We’ve put a lot of effort into transitioning Schlage into electronic locks and remote home access, while being careful to retain the brand’s 90-year-old reputation for quality.” Congratulations to our colleagues at Schlage for getting the recognition they so well deserve.
