Piscataway Employees Raise $3,375 for Breast Cancer Research

The Helping Heroes team of employee volunteers in Piscataway, N.J., recently completed a month-long drive in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Throughout October, team members sold breast cancer awareness items, and held wear pink to work Fridays and a very successful bake sale. Our Piscataway employees contributed a total of $1,875, to which Ingersoll Rand added $1,500, to the local New Jersey chapter of the American Cancer Society.

"As a breast cancer survivor, the Cancer Awareness Drive was very personal for me," says Piscataway employee Janine Ferrentino. "It was the perfect opportunity for me to help make a difference, raise awareness and provide others with hope. It was truly amazing to see everyone pull together as a team and support such an important cause."

Other fundraisers held by the Helping Heroes team include support for pet shelters, food drives, clothing drives, diaper drives and a giving tree for the holidays.
